If you shopped at a retail Target store between November 27 and December 15, you might want to keep an eye on your credit card statements. Today, the retail chain acknowledged that a recent hack revealed the names, credit card numbers, expiration dates, and 3-digit security codes of “certain store customers”. Target said about 40 million credit and debit card accounts were affected by the attack. With the specific data fields revealed to have been stolen, it appears as if the hackers targeted Target REDcard holders.
