About the Enola Holmes 2 movie.

Enola Holmes 2 will be directed by Emmy and BAFTA-winner Harry Bradbeer (Fleabag, Killing Eve, Ramy) from a screenplay written by returning scribe BAFTA and Tony Award winner Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Aeronauts). It is a co-production between Legendary and Netflix.

It will be produced by Millie Bobby Brown, and Paige Brown through their PCMA Productions banner, along with Legendary’s Mary Parent, Alex Garcia, and Ali Mendes. Executive producers are Bradbeer, Thorne, Michael Dreyer, and Legendary’s Joshua Grode.

Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will star in the movie. Seven new cast members joined the project including David Thewlis (Wonder Woman), Adeel Akhtar (Sweet Tooth), Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Dune), Abbie Hern (The Twilight Zone), Hannah Dodd (Fighting with My Family), Gabriel Tierney (Endeavour), Serrana Su-Ling Bliss, Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown) and Susan Wokoma (Chewing Gum).

Based on Nancy Springer’s Edgar Award-nominated book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries, the 2020 film centered around Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ rebellious teen sister Enola, a gifted super-sleuth in her own right who often outsmarts her brilliant siblings. After her mother’s sudden disappearance, she ran away from her older brothers to London in order to find her, where she’s caught in the middle of a conspiracy that could alter the course of political history.

Helena Bonham Carter (The Crown) and Susan Wokoma (Chewing Gum) have officially signed on to reprise their respective roles of Eudoria Holmes and Edith in Netflix’s forthcoming Enola Holmes sequel. They will be joining leads Millie Bobby Brown, and Henry Cavill.
