It’s only been a week since N1ON’s True Skin short video hit the web and already Warner Bros. has snapped up rights to the film.  Stephan Zlotescu, who directed the short, is attached to direct the feature version; Chris Sewall, the short’s producer, will be a co-producer which gives us hope that the feature-length version of the film will be as colorful and edgy as the short film version.

True Skin, written and directed by Stephan Zlotescu, is a sci-fi short set in the not too distant future where body augmentation is the way of life for civilians. For Kaye, still a “natural”, augmenting will help him keep pace in this now hyper-paced world. Kaye cannot afford augmentation in the United States so he heads to Bangkok where he acquires an off-market prototype that slowly turns him into a robot.  Kaye quickly finds himself fighting not only for his own humanity, but something much larger.

You can read more about the film from N1ON here or watch the short-version of the film below.
