The production of carbon dioxide and other “greenhouse gases” is further worsened by our purposeful destruction of trees. This is bad because trees absorb carbon dioxide and store it. The very thing that sucks carbon dioxide out of the air and helps reduce global warming causes is being destroyed at an alarming rate.
