Herbivores are animals that primarily feed on plants. They have specialized digestive systems that are able to break down tough plant material and extract the nutrients they need. Some examples of herbivores include cows, horses, deer, and rabbits. Unlike carnivores, herbivores do not have sharp teeth or claws for hunting and killing prey. Instead, they have flat teeth and strong jaws that allow them to grind and chew tough plant material.
