How do you stay warm in cosplay?

  We live in the UK.
  
  That about says it all.
  
  How do you stay warm in cold and rainy weather in cosplay.
  
  I generally wear princess dresses, any help would be appreciated.

  Making sure the right kind of fabrics are used can help. I cosplayed Elsa in November once and the dress was made of nylon (I think) and I was actually really hot all day!
