Chipotle to give away up to $1 million in free quesadillas.

Chipotle Mexican Grill announced today that it is commemorating National Quesadilla Day by distributing up to $1 million in complimentary quesadillas. For the first time, the company will engage fans with BUY-ONE-ENTREE-GET-ONE-QUESADILLA (BOGO) offers, disseminated across various digital channels. Americans have a pronounced preference for quesadillas. According to DoorDash, chicken quesadillas were the second most ordered food item in 2023. Chipotle is broadening its National Quesadilla Day activities this year to give fans easier access to one of their cherished meals.

Scavenger Hunt Code Drops – September 23

Chipotle is running the scavenger hunt starting on Monday, September 23. They will be sharing text-to-claim codes on Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok for fans to uncover. The codes will be shared by various creators who love Chipotle’s quesadilla. Up to 21,000 fans will have the opportunity to claim a buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) quesadilla. Content creator Shari Dyonne, known for her “Concoction” drink hack, will also be sharing her favorite quesadilla order in a mukbang with fans and dropping a text-to-claim code on TikTok for up to 10,000 fans to get a BOGO quesadilla.

National Quesadilla Day – September 25

Fans can score a free quesadilla on DoorDash and Uber Eats with a minimum order. Up to 15,000 DoorDash users can score a free quesadilla from Chipotle with a minimum order of $25. On UberEats, up to 10,000 fans with a $15 cart minimum will be able to add a quesadilla to their basket for free.
