An organization for pedophiles who worship Satan, practice black magic, and embrace extreme right-wing neo-Nazi ideologies. Meet the deranged Order of Nine Angles.

We don’t need no stinkin’ morals

Baphomet

They’re a “left-hand path” (i.e. black magic) occultist group who practice “traditional satanism” and follow neo-Nazi ideologies. They often identify with extreme sex and pedophilia. They strive for a militaristic social order called “Imperium” that serve to battle Judeo-Christian religious groups who they believe are a threat to society. According to their teachings, they must rape, kill, and terrorize for a galactic civilization to form, in which “Aryan” society will colonize the Milky Way. Folks, I’m not making this stuff up. They’re like a modern-day Ku Klux Klan that caters to crazy people. They’re called the Order of the Nine Angles.

The Order of the Nine Angles, ONA or O9A, depending on who you ask, originated in Britain in the 1970’s (ONA claims they’ve been around much longer) and have been described by the FBI as “an occult-based neo-Nazi and racially motivated violent extremist group”. Their ideology is shaped and formed around an objective to disrupt and destroy Western society – and they vow to do whatever it takes to achieve their goal.

A bizarre and somewhat goofy group arises from the depths of, ahem, hell

The birth of the Order of the Nine Angles is just as bizarre as their agenda. According to ONA/O9A lore, the group was created in the 1960’s by uniting three pre-Christian English “temples” – Camlad, the Temple of the Sun, and the Noctulians. In 1973, the “grand mistress” of the order immediately baptized a British citizen named Anton Long, one of her first disciples.

Long says he had long been interested in magic, witchcraft, covens, and things that go bump in the night. He claimed to have been involved with a Satanic group in Manchester – the Orthodox Temple of the Prince. It was in Manchester that he met the grand mistress who convinced him to join the Order of the Nine Angles. He quickly became her heir to the throne.

Anton Long believes in Islam, fascism, Nazism, and the tooth fairy

Anton Long became the Grand Master of the Order of the Nine Angles when the grand mistress packed up and moved to Australia. He immediately began to reshape the group in his own image. He first implemented an objective to spread knowledge from the ONA far and wide in a movement he called Sinister Strategy. To do this, he began forming mini-ONA groups called “temples” and documenting the group’s beliefs while codifying its teachings, mythos, and structure. In places where he drifted into incoherent thought, he doused it with segments of Greek, Sanskrit, and Arabic to bathe the texts in a mystical feel. One historian reported that Long’s texts “evoked a world of witches, outlaw peasant sorcerers, orgies and blood sacrifices at lonely cottages in the woods and valleys of this area (Shropshire and Herefordshire) where he has lived since the early 1980s.” His beliefs were bizarre, perplexing, and violent.

Anton Long isn’t Anton Long at all

In 1998, the anti-fascist magazine, Searchlight, revealed the true identity of Anton Long as sixty-something year-old David Myatt, a British author, socialist, Islamist, Buddhist, Taoist, and Christian before finally settling on Satan as his lord and savior. In his search for the perfect philosophy, Long was a member of the British Movement, Nazi skinhead group Combat 18 militia, and National Socialist Movement. He converted to Islam, joined violent jihad, worshipped Osama bin Laden, denounced the West, before finally renouncing Islam to practice a cryptic tradition called the “Numinous Way”.

After settling on Satanism as his religion, he vowed to follow neo-Nazi philosophies. Throwing out all good lessons learned and settling on the role of a villain, he penned a paper called A Practical Guide to Aryan Revolution which nail-bomber David Copeland (killed three, injured 140) cited as a major influence. Then he denied being Anton Long and said he had no affiliation with the Order of the Nine Angles nor the Slytherin house and simply disappeared.

The Order of the Nine Angles spreads it message of sorcery and hate while confusion reigns supreme

In the late 1980’s, ONA/O9A began publishing a journal titled Fenrir, named after the wolf god of Norse mythology. A position within ONA called an “Outer Representative” was revealed, the purpose of which was to act as the official spokesperson for the Order of the Nine Angles. Outer Representatives purportedly included Richard Moult (aka Christos Beest), Michael Ford (Vilnius Thornian), and Chloe Ortega followed by reps known only by silly pseudonyms like Sinister Moon, Dark Logos, and Pointy Hat.

In 1995, a study of Satanist groups suggested ONA had fewer than 10 members, maybe even as few as five – or even none at all. There was no official membership role, no official hierarchy, and still no coherent ideology. Was the Order of the Nine Angles nothing more than a myth?

Suddenly, every terrorist wants to be called “O9A”

He had been shot twice. When the arrests of Jon Nödtveidt and “Vlad” were made on 15 and 18 December 1997, the police discovered satanic altars in the homes of the two suspects. A human skull was also found at Vlad’s place, for which he was charged with possession of human parts.

Many O9A members openly view rape as an effective way to undermine society by transgressing against its norms. In summary, what is the Order of the Nine Angles and what do they believe?

Ultimately, O9A is a loosely defined ideology, a caricature of angry men with disturbing mental problems. They embrace Satanism, Fascism, and violence. Like Traditionalism, ONA believes civilizations emerge, advance, and decline in historical periods called Aeons. They believe Western civilization in this “Aeon” (age) has been weakened by Magian (Jews) and Nazarenes (Christians). They reject all ethics and morality as signs of societal decay and seek any means to destabilize society in order to establish new tribal societies. They believe magic can be used to open portals and harm people. They implement rituals and sacrifices, both symbolic and real.

To achieve their goals, they believe in “culling” individuals who they deem detrimental to human evolution or to their cause. This could include Christians, journalists, or anyone “attempting to disrupt in some way established Satanist groups or Orders”. According to ONA:

The particular ONA criteria are that some humans, by nature, by character, are rotten – worthless – and, when this rotten character is revealed by their deeds, it is beneficial to remove them, to cull them.

Often the culling goes hand in hand with human sacrifice. ONA believes that sacrificing an “opfer” (derived from the “heifers” mentioned as sacrifices in the Old Testament) “releases energy” and draws in “dark forces” that they can harness for their own purposes. In their culling guidebook, they note:

Opfers are human culling in action. That is, Satanic sacrifice makes a contribution to improving the human stock: removing the worthless, the weak, the diseased.

An opfer is chosen via “tests” that are designed to appear to be incidents of everyday life. The tests reveal the person’s “true nature” and indicate whether they are a suitable opfer or not. Their guidebook instructs:

Positive, Satanic qualities, are courage, daring, defiance, and so on. Negative qualities are cowardice, meek fear, treachery and so on.

Yes, the perfect candidate for an ONA opfer is someone who can’t fight back.

The Order of Nine Angles uses “Magik” (their preferred spelling) to open the “nexion” (channel) between the “causual realm” (the real world” and the “acausal realm” (where dark forces reside). Ultimately, they believe this will allow humankind to evolve into a superior civilization (called Homo galactica) that will “usher in a Galactic Imperium in which a new species of superhumans will start “seeding” themselves among the stars”.

Maybe the Order of Nine Angles shouldn’t be ignored after all

In a December 2020 report by the US National Counterterrorism Center, O9A was assessed to “poses a violent threat and that it plays an influential role among right-wing terror groups”. The report however added that the O9A was rejected by certain groups for inciting its members to commit rape and pedophilia. The following year, the FBI issued a similar warning.

Today the Order of Nine Angles boasts nexions (cells) in Australia, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Servia, South Africa, Spain, and the United States.

Example of Order of Nine Angles Rhetoric

David Myatt, 2006:

“There will not be an uprising, a revolution, in any Western nation, by nationalists, racial nationalists, or National Socialists — because these people lack the desire, the motivation, the ethos, to do this and because they do not have the support of even a large minority of their own folk. If these nationalists, or some of them, desire to aid us, to help us . . . they can do the right thing, the honorable thing, and convert, revert, to Islam — accepting the superiority of Islam over and above each and every way of the West.”

David Myatt, 2005:

“From the get-go the ONA have propagated holocaust revisionism, have praised Hitler, have encouraged members to join NS groups, with one of their core principles being, to quote Professor Monette, ‘the Way of Defiance of and Practical Opposition to Magian Abstractions’. This principle refers to the ONA’s opposition to what it perceives as illegitimate Magian (western Judaeo-Christian) control of global culture and economics.”

David Myatt, 2005:

“Magian is ONA code for ZOG [Zionist Occupation Government – a phrase to describe the Jewish control of the state that became widely adopted by Nazis in the 1980s and 90s].”

ONA Frequently Asked Questions, undated:

“Three of the primary aims of the ONA are:
“(1) to use our Dark Tradition to create sinister Adepts and, over a long period of causal Time, aid and enhance and create that new, more evolved, human species of which genuine Sinister Adepts may be considered to be the phenotype;
“(2) to use the sinister dialectic (and thus Aeonic Magick and genuine Sinister Arts) to aid and enhance and make possible entirely new types of societies for human beings, with these new societies being based on new tribes and a tribal way of living where the only law is that of our kindred honour;
“(3) to aid, encourage, and bring about – by practical and esoteric means (such as Dark Sorcery) – the breakdown and the downfall of existing societies, and thus to replace the tyranny of nations and States – and their impersonal governments – by our new tribal societies.”

ONA propaganda, undated:

Nazi Germany is a “practical expression of Satanic spirit . . . a burst of Luciferian light – of zest and power – in an otherwise Nazarene, pacified, and boring world.”

ONA text The Mass Heresy, undated:

“Adolf Hitler was sent by our gods to guide us to greatness. We believe in the inequality of races and in the right of the Aryan to live according to the law of the folk. We acknowledge that the story of the Jewish ‘[H]olocaust’ is a lie to keep our race in chains and express our desire to see the truth revealed. We believe in justice for our oppressed comrades and seek an end to the world-wide persecution of NationalSocialists.

ONA text The Rape Anthology, undated:

“Listen thus, Judeowhite children of Israel – to free yourself from your yoke of ‘morality’ and ‘decency’, and to redeem your sins in the eyes of Shaytaan, you must become the spear that tears through virgin hymen, you must become the phallic warrior, you must experience spiritual arousal from violent sexual rape.”

David Myatt’s – A Practical Guide to Aryan Revolution

Below is David Myatt’s paper, A Practical Guide to Aryan Revolution. Like much of Myatt’s writing, it’s full of rambling prose, often with little substance. However, it provides keen insight into O9A beliefs as provided directly by the man who many consider to be the group’s founder.

  1. The groups goals are not as crazy as this article makes it out to be. The US has been lead down the wrong path and the groups mentioned are a huge reason why. The groups other activities are misunderstood and sex with children is not that bad and in many instances quite enjoyable and hope it continues.
