Today, Apple Maps on the web is available in public beta, empowering users worldwide to access Maps directly from their browser. Users can now seamlessly obtain driving and walking directions; discover fantastic places and essential information, including photos, hours, ratings, and reviews; take actions like ordering food straight from the Maps place card; and explore curated Guides to find the best spots to eat, shop, and enjoy in cities globally. Exciting features like Look Around will be incorporated in the coming months.

All developers, including those utilizing MapKit JS, can easily link out to Maps on the web, enabling their users to get driving directions, see comprehensive place information, and more.

Maps on the web is currently available in English and is fully compatible with Safari and Chrome on Mac and iPad, as well as Chrome and Edge on Windows PCs. Support for additional languages, browsers, and platforms will be progressively expanded. Availability is subject to regional differences.
