Mattels Kawa-Bug-A model, based on a ’49 Volkswagen Beetle, was introduced last year. This Hot Wheels was so popular that they offered it as an option in their first sELECTIONs poll of 2023, and it received a wave of votes from members.
In subsequent rounds, Spectraflame magenta and Real Riders steelie wheels were chosen as winning options for this special edition. Mattel graphic designer, Steve “Van” Vandervate, then worked on the details that make this release stand out. The model has an opening rear hood and a removable surfboard, making it perfect for the beach!
This item is customized to order, and pre-orders can be placed between June 20 and July 3. There is no limit to the number of orders you can place. However, please note that delivery will take several months.
