Yes, there will be a Deadpool 3 movie (of course)!
After the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney was announced in December 2017, Disney CEO Bob Iger said Ryan Reynolds would reprise his role as Wade Wilson / Deadpool from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men films Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018). By December 2019, Reynolds confirmed a third Deadpool film was in development at Marvel Studios, with new writers Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin writing the film (Reynolds will oversee the script).
One of the biggest questions surrounding Deadpool 3 is whether or not it will be connected to the MCU. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige hinted that it would join the MCU. Deadpool 3 will reportedly maintain the franchise’s R-rating.

Deadpool 3 is directed by Shawn Levy from a script penned by Rob Liefeld, Wendy Molyneux, and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin. The film is produced by Mitchell Bell and Simon Kinberg.

Emma Corrin joins the cast of Deadpool 3 as a villain. February 14, 2023
According to sources, Emma Corrin, known for her breakout role in “The Crown,” has been added to the cast of “Deadpool 3” alongside Hugh Jackman who is set to reprise his role as Wolverine for Marvel Studios. Though the exact details of Corrin’s character are unknown, it is confirmed that she will be playing the villain in the film.

Ryan Reynolds has announced on social media that Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Wolverine in Disney/Marvel’s Deadpool 3. In a short video featuring Reynolds sitting on a couch in his living room, he deadpans.
“Hey everyone, we’re extremely sad to have missed D23, but we’ve been working very hard on the next Deadpool film for a good long while now. I’ve had to really search my soul on this one. His first appearance in the MCU obviously needs to feel special. We need to stay true to the character, find new depth, motivation, meaning. Every Deadpool needs to stand out and stand apart. It’s been an incredible challenge that has forced me to reach down deep inside. And I…I have nothing. Yeah, just completely empty up here. And terrifying. But we did have one idea. “Hey, Hugh, you want to play Wolverine one more time?”

Disney announced today, the delay of a multitude of movies due to “production delays”. In addition to numerous delays, it was announced that two Untitled movies were taken off its calendar and one untitled movie shifted from November 10, 2023, to November 3, 2023 (yes, it was moved up a week). It is rumored that Deadpool 3 could be one of the Untitled movies that were impacted by Disney’s schedule shift.

The franchise has made a lot of money but when Disney bought Fox in 2019, the fate of Deadpool came into question. Would Disney release a hard R-rated movie like Deadpool. When asked if Deadpool 3 had a release window, Marvel head Kevin Feige confirmed the project is a go.
“We do. And the script is in the works and Ryan is working very hard on it with our writers as we speak.”

“The percentage chance? I don’t know. I couldn’t assign a percentage to that. I’d say it’s 50/50 maybe? We’re really actively developing it and getting it into pretty good shape. What the hell month is it? August? Oh next year? Probably pretty damn good. I’d say 70%.”
