Vecna is the main antagonist of Stranger Things season 4, portrayed by Jamie Campbell Bower as an adult and by Raphael Luce as a child. He is a fearsome sentient creature aligned with the Upside Down. Vecna’s origins can be traced back to the human Henry Creel. In 1959, Henry moved to Hawkins and discovered his remarkable psychokinetic abilities. He could manipulate the perceptions of others and was motivated by a misanthropic and nihilistic philosophy. He used his powers to psychologically torture his family, eventually leading to the death of his mother and sister.
