Two autopsies were performed on global superstar Michael Jackson, who was found dead on the floor of his rented Los Angeles mansion on June 25, 2009. One autopsy was performed on the 50-year-old singer by the Los Angeles coroner and a private one was requested by his family. Results of the official autopsy leaked to the press and proved what most already suspected – the King of Pop was a tortured man.
Results of Michael Jackson’s autopsy report
According to the leaked reports, the autopsy shows that Jackson’s body had wasted away to a mere 112 pounds. His stomach was completely empty – except for a collection of partially digested pills. Old needle wounds, believed to be from painkiller shots, covered his hips, thighs and shoulders. When he was found, Jackson was wearing a wig because his hair had been reduced to splotchy peach fuzz. A source told the reporter:
“He was skin and bone, his hair had fallen out, and he had been eating nothing but pills when he died.”
The report shows that the autopsy noted a spot above his left ear that was scarred and bald – the result of burns he sustained when his hair caught on fire while performing in a Pepsi commercial in 1984. It also confirmed that Jackson had vitiligo, a skin pigmentation disease which caused some areas of his skin to appear nearly white.
There were four injection marks near his heart, but it is believed they were delivered by medics in an attempt to restart the singer’s heart. Three of the shots penetrated the heart while the fourth struck a rib. It was also noted that medics broke several of Jackson’s ribs while administering CPR.
As was suspected, there were many scars believed to be remnant of plastic surgery including tattooing around the scalp, eyebrows, and lips. Oddly, the autopsy also found several unexplained bruises on his knees and shins. There were also mysterious cuts on his back.
Sadly, the autopsy proved that the end of the singer’s life was almost certainly imminent.
“Injection marks all over his body and the disfigurement caused by years of plastic surgery show he’d been in terminal decline for some years.”
