Unity launches AI marketplace
Unity has launched an AI marketplace in the Unity Asset Store to help developers accelerate AI-driven game development and gameplay enhancements. The marketplace features curated solutions, including professional-quality Unity Verified Solutions, community-built solutions, and up-and-coming AI technologies. Alongside the launch of Unity’s new AI platforms, Unity Sentis and Unity Muse, developers now have access to an ever-growing selection of AI tools. The AI marketplace centralizes these assets, making it easier and faster for Unity developers to find relevant AI solutions.
Ralph Hauwert, SVP & GM, Unity Runtime, Editor and Ecosystems, announced:
“We know that AI will continue to have a seismic impact on the gaming industry and we’re seeing surging demand for more AI tools from our developers. With the new AI marketplace in the Unity Asset Store, we’re making it easier for creators to not only access AI solutions but to select the right ones that fit their project’s needs. Unity is committed to uncovering and delivering the best-in-class AI tools that bring immediate value to our creators. We’re providing our developers with a reliable marketplace so they can effectively harness the power of AI in the game development process directly through the Unity Editor.”
The Unity AI Hub offers solutions with a variety of capabilities, which include:
- Generative AI solutions: These tools enable developers to create assets for their projects.
- AI/ML Integration solutions: These tools enhance the workflow of creation or connect projects to services from AI vendors.
- Behavior AI solutions: These tools allow developers to create behavior in game worlds, including pathfinding, enemy logic, and non-player character responsiveness.
Unity AI marketplace verified solutions
Verified Solutions are high-quality solutions that have undergone thorough vetting and are committed to providing excellent solutions, service, and long-term support. Unity is pleased to offer the following:
- Atlas: Atlas uses advanced generative 3D AI technology to create assets and virtual worlds much faster than traditional methods.
- Convai: Convai enhances AI characters in games and virtual worlds with human-like conversation capabilities and more.
- Inworld AI: Inworld AI provides an advanced AI non-playable character platform that enables developers to create fully interactive characters with multimodal personalities and contextual awareness.
- Layer AI: With Layer, game makers can upload their creations and generate an infinite number of assets in their custom art style with just a few clicks.
- Leonardo Ai: Leonardo AI is a content production suite powered by generative AI that streamlines 2D asset creation, textures, and generates full UV texture maps for 3D models.
- LMNT: Developers can use LMNT’s AI speech to create immersive voiceovers, lifelike characters, and endless replay value.
- Modl.ai: Modl:test utilizes bots to simplify game testing by automating and expanding coverage for developers. The self-managed service reports errors, events, and crashes on the modl.ai cloud platform for developers to address.
- Polyhive: Polyhive is an AI texturing suite that allows 3D artists and developers to texture 3D assets in minutes, using natural language. Users can texture 3D assets with 360° consistency and generate tileable materials with custom structure and style.
- Replica Studios: The Unity-featured Replica Studios AI Voice Actors Unity plugin seamlessly integrates with Replica Studios’ desktop app, enabling developers to generate AI text-to-speech and transfer voiceovers directly into their active Unity project.
- Zibra AI: Zibra Effects is a versatile, no-code toolset that simplifies VFX creation and enhances virtual worlds through real-time simulation and lifelike physics.

Unity introduces Unity Sentis and Unity Muse AI platforms
Unity has launched Unity Sentis and Unity Muse, two new AI platforms designed to enhance productivity and improve RT3D experiences for creators. Unity Sentis is a cross-platform runtime inference engine that simplifies the deployment of AI models in any Unity project, while Unity Muse consists of tools used to accelerate the creation of RT3D content. Both platforms leverage AI to enhance interactivity and accelerate creative workflows.
Unity Sentis harnesses the power of Unity’s Runtime to deliver on-device AI model inference, enabling creators to deploy neural networks across any platform supported by Unity. This eliminates concerns about high cloud compute costs or latency, allowing creators to deliver the most interactive and dynamic experiences. With Unity’s Sentis Runtime, creators can expand the possibilities of interactive gameplay and digital twins beyond what is currently possible, from “smart” Non-Playable Characters to predictive factory floors.
Unity Muse provides AI solutions that accelerate the creation of RT3D content for games, applications, and digital twins. The platform includes tools accessible in the Unity Editor and on the web for developers who want to create assets and animations faster without interrupting their workflows. One of the first tools available now is Unity Muse Chat, which speeds up troubleshooting and access to information. Additional functionality will be introduced in the coming weeks, making it easier to create assets and animations with just a text prompt or a doodle.
Marc Whitten, President, Create, Unity, said:
“We believe that every object, every system, every pixel in every game will be touched by AI at create time, helping creators at every step be more productive and ultimately more creative, and at runtime, AI will bring worlds and characters alive, allowing for experiences that just can’t be done today. Unity’s Sentis and Muse will help automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and generate high-quality output with remarkable speed and accuracy, without replacing human creativity and expertise. Our focus is to make these capabilities available, easy, and powerful on every device that creators want to target.”
Unity Sentis and Unity Muse are now in closed beta. Developers can request access by visiting a dedicated website at https://create.unity.com/ai-beta. These solutions are expected to become available globally later this year.
