Adolf Hitler (1889 – 1945), the Austrian-born German politician and the leader of the Nazi Party rose to be chancellor of Germany from 1933 to 1945 and dictator of Nazi Germany from 1934 to 1945. Before that, he was just a goof-looking nobody who longed for attention (which is certainly got). Here’s a set of pictures of Hitler from his youth along with pictures that were unpublished for quite some time, likely due to their unflattering portrayal of the Nazi leader.
Here is Hitler as a baby, shot sometime around 1890.
This isn’t Hitler, it’s his mother. The resemblance is striking however.
And here’s his father, sporting an equally silly-looking mustache. He was said to have beat Hitler mercilessly.
This is believed to be a picture of Hitler as a youth.
And here he is at the age of 12, pouting during a picture taken in his Linz classroom in 1901 (he was later forced to change schools because of “disruptive behavior”). His mother died a few years after this picture was taken.
Oddly enough, Hitler was captured in a picture of a crowd celebrating the declaration of World War I.
Here’s a young Hitler in his World War I field uniform.
And with his battalion (on the left, almost being pushed off the seat).
Below is Hitler (back row, second from the right) with his fellow infantrymen in a military hospital during World War I (1918). He was hospitalized after suffering a serious thigh wound at the Battle of the Somme. It was during his stay at the hospital that he clipped his mustache.
Here’s Hitler looking shy when surrounded by beautiful young girls.
We shudder to think what he could be laughing about.
Hitler always looked his creepiest when pictured with kids.
This picture was taken in 1921 when Adolf Hitler was the leader of the National Socialist German Workers’ Party.
By 1923, he was the leader of the National Socialist German Worker’s Party.
And believe it or not, this is Hitler reading a newspaper during his *imprisonment* in Landsberg Jail (after the failure of the Munich Putsch).
Here’s another one of Hitler in jail attempting a “mean look” but looking more like he is in the process of passing gas.
