
Today, Prime Video has released the first-look images and premiere date for Harlan Coben’s Shelter, a new thriller series based on the book by best-selling author Harlan Coben. The show will have eight episodes and will premiere globally on August 18, exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories worldwide. New episodes will be available every Friday until the season finale on September 22. Check out the trailer below.
Harlan Coben’s Shelter follows the story of Mickey Bolitar after his father’s sudden death leads him to move to Kasselton, New Jersey. There, he gets involved in the mysterious disappearance of a new student at his school, Ashley Kent, which leads to the discovery of dark secrets within their quiet suburban community. With the help of his friends Spoon and Ema, Mickey uncovers a dark underground that may hold the answers to decades of disappearances, deaths, and legends, as well as his own complicated family history.
The main cast of the series includes Jaden Michael as Mickey Bolitar, Constance Zimmer as Shira Bolitar, Adrian Greensmith as Arthur “Spoon” Spindell, Abby Corrigan as Ema Winslow, Tovah Feldshuh as Bat Lady, Sage Linder as Rachel Caldwell, and Brian Altemus as Troy, among others.
Harlan Coben and Allen MacDonald are the showrunners/executive producers, along with executive producers Edward Ornelas and Erik Barmack. The show also has a producer, Charlotte Coben, and a director and executive producer, Patricia Cardoso.
This collaboration with Prime Video is a first for Harlan Coben.
