Sophos Antivirus flags its own files as malware and then protects you by deleting itself

If you run Sophos Antivirus and have it set to nuke malicious files upon detection, you may no longer have automatic updates. Sophos recently pushed an update that created a pretty funny false positive. Sophos Antivirus mistakenly detected its own automatic updater as malware.
