In March 2021, Oscar-nominated Promising Young Woman filmmaker Emerald Fennell was hired to write the script for a Zatanna movie. The film will be produced by J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot production company.

Fox is teaming up with Warner Bros Animation and executive producer Elizabeth Banks to bring back the Flintstones classic animated series in a new adult cartoon titled Bedrock. The story will be set 20 years after the 1960’s series and instead of centering around Fred, will focus on an adult Pebbles Flintstone.
The Covid movie release date dance continues. Paramount Pictures has just announced a new batch of release dates for several of its films that will be dropping into theaters.
Avatar 4 is planned for a release on December 18, 2026 followed by Avatar 4 on December 22, 2028.
Filming was completed before the COVID-19 shutdown, and post-production continued from home. The Suicide Squad will be released on HBO Max the same day it’s in theaters.
The Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom screenplay is based on a story idea by star Jason Momoa (Aquaman) himself, and filming is due to begin in Summer 2021.
The Blue Beetle will be the first Latino superhero movie for DC. Filming is due to begin in Fall 2021 with Angel Manuel Soto directing. The film is being planned for release on HBO Max.
The project is Blackhawk based on the DC Comic of the same name which tells the story about a team of ace pilots during World War II. Spielberg is going to produce the film and may direct it too.
It was announced in June 2018 that Jared Leto’s Joker is getting his own standalone movie, with Leto serving as executive producer.
