Hot Wheels is set to commemorate the 10th edition of the Fast and Furious movie series by launching three assortments of Fast and Furious cars at Walmart stores across the country. Every mix features a single car from all 10 movies in the Fast and Furious franchise.
Take a look at the themed cars available in Mix 1, which can be found on the pegs at Walmart. There are ten of them!
The 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse is reminiscent of the one driven by Brian in the first installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise. It features a striking neon green color palette and complementing blue and white graphics.
The iconic ‘70 Dodge Hemi Challenger featured in 2 Fast 2 Furious is a real head-turner. This orange muscle car, sporting a sleek black racing stripe, was famously driven by Roman Pierce.
Similarly, the Nissan Silvia (S15) in a stunning metalflake blue with an orange stripe, was showcased in Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. Han generously lends this car to Sean for his first race against the formidable Drift King.
In the original Fast and Furious movie, Fenix drove the iconic ’72 Ford Gran Torino Sport, which is known for its distinct green color. This vehicle stands out from the rest as it runs on nitromethane, making it quite unique in the movie.
The 1994 Toyota Supra comes straight from the original Fast and Furious film. Brian gives this bright orange car to Dom at the end of the movie so he can get away from the authorities.
One of my favorite cars is the ’70 Ford Escort with plate number RS1600. It resembles the car that Brian O’Conner, played by Paul Walker, drove in Fast & Furious 6. In the movie, he heroically uses this classic blue car to rescue his friend Roman from a tank.
The 1970 Dodge Charger holds a special place in the franchise as one of the most renowned cars. This iconic matte black vehicle was initially owned by Dominic Toretto’s father, but eventually became Dom’s signature car throughout the series.
The Ice Charger is colored gray with a black stripe on the hood. This car is based on the “ice-tuned” 1968 Dodge Charger driven by Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto in the finale of The Fate of the Furious.
Fans of Jeep vehicles will surely appreciate the 2020 Jeep Gladiator featured in F9. This stunning silver off-road vehicle was driven by Tej and Ramsey in one of the movie’s most thrilling scenes as they crossed a collapsing rope bridge.
The 2020 Dodge Charger Hellcat has been modeled after the car driven by Dom Toretto in F9, with intricate headlamps and taillamps and pinstriping running along the body.
There is also a 10-pack featuring eight cars from the Fast and Furious collection along with two exclusive new models at Walmart starting May 19.
This collection includes:
- ’68 Dodge Charger*
- ’87 Buick Regal GNX
- ’70 Ford Escort RS1600
- ’95 Mitsubishi Eclipse
- ’20 Dodge Charger Hellcat
- Ice Charger
- Nissan Silvia (S15)
