Eisner and GLAAD Award-nominated writer David M. Booher (Rain) and fan-favorite artist Drew Zucker (The House) are teaming up again for a new horror one-shot comic book called The Feeding. The comic will debut in October and be published by Syzygy Publishing and Image Comics. The oversized comic is a throwback to self-contained horror and sci-fi stories in the style of Tales from the Crypt, Creepshow, and The Twilight Zone.
Nolan Ward has tried everything to escape his disturbing past – drinking, drugs, day trading, and sex. However, his past catches up with him in the form of a twisted painting called “The Feeding,” which has a hunger for people. Can Nolan stop this demon, or will he be devoured like so many others before him? Readers will embark on a surreal journey into one man’s troubled mind, to a time and place where art is perilous and no one is safe. Booher and Zucker are joined by Vittorio Astone on colors and Andworld Design on letters to bring this terrifying tale to life.
