Max Brings “The Penguin” to SDCC with Cast Panel, and More
DC announced today their expanded presence at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) with a larger DC Booth (#4545) on the convention floor from Wednesday, July 24, through Sunday, July 28. SDCC is the perfect platform for DC to connect with fans, showcase content, and celebrate DC storytelling. This year, DC is teaming up with McFarlane Toys, Meta, and Candy to offer limited edition SDCC exclusives at the DC Booth. Whether you’re looking for comics, TV shows, toys, collectibles, breaking news from the DC universe, or amazing cosplay, you’ll find it all where DC and SDCC meet.
With a lineup of panels, exclusives, and interactive experiences, DC is set to deliver an unforgettable weekend. At SDCC, fans can engage with their favorite creators during in-booth signings, including an appearance by DC President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer Jim Lee.
DC Shop Exclusives
Available only at the DC Booth, Warner Bros. Discovery’s DC Shop is offering the first official merchandise from the highly anticipated film Superman by director James Gunn. The collection features a new design exclusive to DC Shop and the newly unveiled Superman S-shield as it will appear in the upcoming film.
Also available at the DC Booth is the first official merchandise for Creature Commandos, the upcoming animated series from Warner Bros. Animation and James Gunn.
DC Shop will also offer exclusive items for DC Super Hero and Super-Villain fans across apparel, collectibles, and accessories! Highlights include a new tote inspired by Batman: The Animated Series featuring Batman, Robin, Batgirl, The Joker, Mr. Freeze, and Catwoman. Fans can celebrate 85 Years of Batman with a new “Born in Gotham City” varsity jacket, “Greetings from Gotham City” hoodie, and a Mystery Pin Collection.

McFarlane Toys will offer pre-orders on DC action figures, poly-resin statues, and DC Multiverse and DC Direct products (while supplies last). Known for their attention to detail, McFarlane Toys will have surprises for fans in the coming weeks! McFarlane Toys Digital will also host a giveaway at San Diego Comic-Con for an exclusive limited-edition digital collectible—The Joker Bank Robber. Meta Exclusives
Meta will have a 20’ lightbox promoting Batman: Arkham Shadow, a Meta Quest 3 exclusive developed by Camouflaj and Oculus Studios, in one corner of the DC Booth. Their game trailer will be shown on the TV screens as part of the looping video reel. Experience Gotham City like never before! Take down its most notorious criminals using a VR evolution of Arkham’s iconic combat. Camouflaj has reimagined the entire experience for VR—from combat to stealth to detective work. Set between the events of Batman: Arkham Origins and Batman: Arkham Asylum, players will see the origins of characters like The Scarecrow and Harley Quinn. Batman: Arkham Shadow releases Fall 2024.
Candy Digital Exclusives
To commemorate San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Candy Digital and DC are launching the next chapter in Batman: The Legacy Cowl, the first original DC comic on the blockchain shaped by fan voting. Releasing Thursday, July 25, 2024, at San Diego Comic-Con and on the Candy Digital platform, the new physical-digital comic titled Catwoman: The Legacy Cowl is the next installment of the fan-voted DC comic series. Written by Cavan Scott with cover art by Jonboy Meyers and art by Fico Ossio, fans can collect the physical-digital comic for free at the DC booth at San Diego Comic-Con, while supplies last. The digital comic sale, with exclusive variant covers, will start on Thursday, July 25th at 12 p.m. ET on the Candy Digital platform. Additionally, DC Booth visitors can redeem a free SDCC 2024 digital collectible, which automatically enters them for a chance to win a physical copy of DC’s comic book Batman #426 (“A Death in the Family” part one, 1988).
