World of Warcraft: Midnight Opens Its Nine-Chamber Labyrinth of Kindo’jan

World of Warcraft: Midnight has opened a dangerous new corner of Azeroth: the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan, a nine-chamber mega-dungeon arriving as part of Blizzard’s 12.1.5 content update. The sprawling challenge is designed for players who enjoy Delves but want a larger adventure, deeper progression, and access to Mythic-level rewards. Blizzard says the update went live October 13, bringing the Labyrinth alongside a new raid, story campaign, outdoor events, and a mid-season refresh. Blizzard’s official update announcement confirms the launch details, while Bleeding Cool first reported on the Labyrinth’s arrival.

Kindo’jan is an ancient Amani funeral complex that has been sealed for centuries. Its reopening has attracted looters and Vilebranch searching for relics, but the spirits buried inside are not willing to surrender their resting place. Players can tackle the complex in one lengthy session or work through it a wing at a time, with every additional chamber offering more treasure opportunities—and more danger. The Labyrinth also includes a Tier 11 solo challenge, cosmetics, titles, and Mythic gear.

The structure is intended to preserve the flexible, companion-based feel of Delves while expanding it into something closer to a mega-dungeon. Players will be accompanied by Valeera Sanguinar, who guides the expedition deeper into the ruins. The first stop is the Chamber of Rites; completing it and speaking with the spirit guide Kinduru unlocks the remaining chambers for the player and their Warband.

Adventurers can find the Labyrinth north of Amani Pass in Eversong Woods. The intended route begins with the campaign quest “The Long Way Around,” which sends players to Liadrin above Thresh Cove. Those who prefer to travel directly can head to Tokka’s Landing on the Coiled Isle and pick up “The Labyrinth” from Kul’amara the Fierce. From there, the questline leads to Valeera at the entrance and eventually to the Chamber of Rites.

Kindo’jan is only one part of a sizable mid-season package. The update also introduces The Unbinding of Kith’ix, a single-boss raid in which players confront the C’Thraxxi general released after Ula’tek’s defeat. Story, Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulties are available, with the Mythic encounter supporting a flexible 15-to-25-player group. Blizzard frames the raid as the climactic confrontation closing out the current Quel’Thalas and Zul’Aman storyline.

The patch further expands the second season’s endgame with Keystone Myth, allowing players to pursue the “Midnight Keystone Myth: Season 2” achievement by reaching a Mythic+ rating of 3,600. New Aqir Invasions also turn Eversong and Zul’Aman into rotating public-event battlegrounds, with champions racing through a series of objectives before a final boss fight. Taken together, the update gives Midnight players several different ways to progress: solo exploration in Kindo’jan, organized raiding, Mythic+ competition, and large-scale outdoor events. Blizzard’s patch notes outline the broader feature set.
