About the Captain America: Brave New World movie.
In April 2021, a fourth Captain America film was revealed to be in development. Julius Onah directs the film from a script penned by Dalan Musson and Malcolm Spellman, both of whom wrote for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Spellman will produce with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Up until this point, Chris Evans has played Captain America via the Steve Rogers character, appearing in a trio of solo movies, Avengers outings, and assorted other Marvel films. The question of who is entitled to carry the shield or be Captain America is a central theme. Captain America: New World Order will continue the story of Sam Wilson, played by Anthony Mackie, and the current wielder of the shield.

Captain America: New World Order title changed to Captain America: Brave New World. June 6, 2023
Anthony Mackie has confirmed the new title for the upcoming Captain America movie, which was previously titled Captain America: New World Order. This change comes after some fans expressed concern about the use of a controversial conspiracy theory in the title. The theory suggests the existence of a secret totalitarian world government. The new title, as confirmed by Mackie, will now be Captain America: Brave New World.

Captain America: New World Order adds Shira Haas and Tim Blake Nelson to cast. September 10, 2022
Shira Haas and Tim Blake Nelson are joining Marvel’s Captain America: New World Order starring Anthony Mackie, who is set to reprise his role as Sam Wilson. Carl Lumbly, who appeared in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, is also set to reprise his role as Isaiah Bradley. Haas will portray Sabra and Nelson is cast to play villain The Leader. Filming will begin in early 2023.

At today’s San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, announced that Captain America; New World Order would release in theaters on May 3, 2024. Sam Wilson of course, is now taking on the Captain America mantle. The movie is directed by Julius Onah.
Was the Captain America: New World Order movie just pulled from the slate? October 18, 2021
Disney announced today, the delay of a multitude of movies due to “production delays”. In addition to numerous delays, it was announced that two Untitled movies were taken off its calendar and one untitled movie shifted from November 10, 2023 to November 3, 2023 (yes, it was moved up a week). It is rumored that Captain America 4 could be one of the Untitled movies that were impacted by Disney’s schedule shift.
