“Wizards Beyond Waverly Place,” a continuation of the Emmy® Award-winning “Wizards of Waverly Place,” will premiere with two episodes on Tuesday, October 29 at 8 p.m. ET on Disney Channel. The first eight episodes will be available on Disney+ and Disney Channel On Demand the next day, Wednesday, October 30.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place follows an adult Justin Russo (played by David Henrie), who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family: Giada (played by Mimi Gianopulos), Roman (played by Alkaio Thiele), and Milo (played by Max Matenko). When Justin’s sister, Alex Russo (guest starring Selena Gomez), brings Billie (played by Janice LeAnn Brown) to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities, and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place also stars Taylor Cora as Winter.
Writers Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas executive produce with Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, Gomez, and Henrie. Andy Fickman directs and executive produces the pilot and will direct multiple episodes in Season 1. Wizards of Waverly Place was created by Todd Greenwald.
Following the series’ Disney Channel premiere, two new episodes — including a Halloween-themed episode — will premiere October 30 on Disney Channel. Beginning November 8, episode premieres move to Fridays at 8 p.m. ET, with two episodes weekly.
