At New York Comic Con today, AMC Networks revealed that the highly awaited second season of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches is set to debut on January 5, 2025, on AMC and AMC+. The panel, led by TV Guide Magazine’s Damian Holbrook, included executive producer Mark Johnson, showrunner Esta Spalding, and cast members Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, and Alyssa Jirrels. They also offered an early screening of the season two premiere.

Inspired by Anne Rice’s “Lives of the Mayfair Witches,” the second season of “Mayfair Witches” follows Rowan Mayfair (Alexandra Daddario) as she navigates the aftermath of giving birth to the demon Lasher (Jack Huston). Determined to grasp his true nature—human or monster—she aims to harness his abilities to aid her healing pursuits. However, when tragedy occurs, she must prioritize her family’s safety over her own ambitions.

The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson, Showrunner Esta Spalding, Tom Williams, Michelle Ashford, Christopher Rice and the late Anne Rice, and is produced by AMC Studios.
