TheWrap is reporting Daniela Melchior, who broke out playing Ratcatcher 2 in James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad,” is in talks to join the cast of the 10th “Fast and Furious” movie. Plot details for “Fast 10” are still being kept under wraps, as are any character details so for now, that’s about all we know.

Reports indicate Jason Momoa is in final negotiations to join Vin Diesel and the rest of the ensemble cast in Fast & Furious 10 (working title). Plot details are still hush-hush, but rumor has it, the Aquaman actor would be one of the film’s villains. If that is true, it will likely see Momoa teaming up with Charlize Theron, who has been playing a recurring villain in the franchise.

That’s a little more than a month after its previously scheduled debut of April 7, 2023 and moves the “Fast & Furious” sequel firmly into the summer blockbuster season. Universal will slot an untitled animated film into the April 7 slot.

Details are still scarce and Ludacris today confirmed the hush hush nature of the film.
“Let me tell you something. It’s at this point where it’s so top secret, they don’t even tell us until it’s two weeks to start shooting.”
However, he did reveal the rumors circulating amongst the crew.
“To be completely honest with you, I’ve heard that Fast and Furious 10 filming will start sometime next year. They haven’t given us the specifics yet and I think that a lot of it has to do with the pandemic. Let’s put it this way, from Universal’s standpoint, they would love to shoot it next year and for it to be out in the summer of 2023.”
So it looks like we’re looking at a production start in 2022 with a Spring/Summer debut at the theaters.
