Deadline reports today that “Overlord” director Julius Avery is set to direct a live-action adaptation of the sci-fi horror manga “Gantz.” Based on the manga series written and illustrated by Hiroya Oku, the script will be adapted by Marc Guggenheim, with Temple Hill producing.
