Movie synopsis
Spider-Man Noir has been around since 2009. This version of the superhero made his debut as part of the Marvel Noir universe and is set in New York during the Great Depression. In this universe, Spider-Man gets bitten by a spider that was hidden inside a stolen artifact and starts having visions of a spider-god. This leads to him getting superpowers.
If you’re a fan of Spider-Man Noir, you might have seen him in the animated series “Ultimate Spider-Man”, where Milo Ventimiglia provided his voice. And if you’re a fan of the movie “Into the Spider-Verse”, you’ll recognize the character as the one voiced by Nicolas Cage.

Amazon is working on a live-action series called Spider-Man Noir! This series will be set in 1930s New York City and will feature an older and grittier superhero. And here’s the twist – the main character won’t be Peter Parker!
According to sources, the series will take place in its own universe and is one of several Marvel-based projects in the works at Amazon Prime Video and MGM+. Another one that’s already been announced is called “Silk: Spider Society”, which will be run by showrunner Angela Kang. It’s still unknown which other Marvel characters will be included in the other Amazon shows, but Sony has control over 900 characters associated with the Spider-Man franchise. So, there’s plenty of potential for exciting new series!
