After seeing success from the sci-fi action film The Tomorrow War, Amazon Studios quickly showed interest in producing a sequel. Discussions with Skydance and Paramount Pictures started almost immediately.
Kingsman franchise-creator Matthew Vaughn assembled an all-star cast for Marv Studio’s Argylle, a spy-thriller that follows the world’s greatest spy through his globetrotting adventures. It is planned to be the first of at least three films in the franchise.
Fantastic Beasts 3 is written by Steve Kloves and J.K. Rowling. It is directed by David Yates and stars Eddie Redmayne, Jessica Williams, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, and Alison Sudol. It is distributed by Warner Bros.
Morbius is written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless and directed by Daniel Espinosa. It stars Jared Leto, Adria Arjona, Matt Smith, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson. It will be distributed by Sony Pictures.
The 2022 Scream reboot (aka Scream 5) is written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick and directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The film will star Neve Campbell, David Arquette, Courteney Cox, Mikey Madison, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. It will be released by Paramount Pictures.
In the September 2020 issue of Empire, the film was provisionally subtitled Kingsman: The Blue Blood.
The King’s Man is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2021, by 20th Century Studios, delayed several times from an original November 2019 release date, partially due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In June 2018, Vaughn announced several projects in development including Statesman, confirming that Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Halle Berry would reprise their roles in the film.
Uncharted is directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. It is an adaptation of the video games of the same name created by Amy Hennig. The film stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Victor Sullivan.
