Last Saturday, UFC 306: Noche UFC presented a once-in-a-lifetime event at Sphere in Las Vegas, exclusively on ESPN+ PPV. The first-ever live sporting competition at the iconic venue featured two championship fights and was held in advance of Mexican Independence Day. The event honored and celebrated Mexico’s extraordinary contributions and accomplishments across combat sports.

“ESPN covers big events and stories unlike any other — it’s part of our DNA,” Matt Kenny, ESPN VP of Programming & Acquisitions, said.

Kenny added that “UFC 306: Noche UFC is the latest example of incredible collaboration across the organization to support this one-of-a-kind event from an iconic venue.”

The event was a tremendous success, with 16,024 attendees and record-breaking numbers in UFC’s live gate ($22 million) and merchandise sales.
