Volunteer workers to beach clean up in Perdido Key, Florida were horrified to find this barnacle-encrusted, headless figure laying on the beach. Emergency services were called and the police dispatched to the scene. When someone finally worked up enough nerve to approach the figure, they found it was a decapitated department store mannequin worthy of any horror movie.
Officials do not know where the mannequin came from but the crustaceans attached to it hint it had been in the water for quite some time. We can only assume that those who discovered the “body” felt like dummies afterward [groan].
