In a time, long, long, ago, you didn’t pick your Halloween costume from a department store – you made it – often from whatever scrap material you could find. This, of course, required imagination, which ran aplenty a century ago. As you can see from this sampler of photos, costumes from the good-ol-days were creepy as hell.
