This electric motor and generator science kit show two sides of the same coin.
This motor/generator model demonstrates the process whereby electrical energy is converted into mechanical energy and the mechanical energy is converted back into electrical energy. Flip the switch and the first motor rotates after electrification and converts electric energy into kinetic energy that drives the second motor to rotate via a belt-drive transmission. The second motor acts as a generator that generates electricity that is used to light up a LED light.
Assemble this science kit to demonstrate and explore the principles of an electric motor and electric generator.
