This Faraday Bag (i.e. RFID Bag, RFID Blocking Bag, or EMP Bag) is a type of Faraday shield, an enclosure designed to block electromagnetic fields. A continuous covering of conductive mesh material inside the bags lining distributes the signal so that the field’s effect in the bag’s interior is cancelled. A Faraday Bag is used to protect sensitive electronic equipment or more importantly, to block radio signals from reaching devices that are carried inside. This blocks hackers, thieves, or government agencies who are trying to track your phone or hack your device. They cannot penetrate the outer layer of the Faraday bag to reach devices stored inside!
