This Steampunk Plague Doctor Mask is the perfect simulation of the creepy masks plague doctors wore during the bubonic plague in the mid-1300’s through 19th centuries. The bird beak-like mask was filled with aromatic items (herbs, straw, and spices)  thought to protect the historical doctors from the putrid air (but more appropriately, to mask the stench of the decaying bodies).

This plague doctor mask is constructed of durable latex rubber with detail simulated stitching and rivets. Mask has a three-way simulated leather strap with an adjustable buckle to ensure a perfect fit. Lenses are distortion-free scratch-resistant vinyl.
