Google has a great sense of humor and allows their developers to occasionally put Easter eggs in the search results (in addition to just about every other product they own). Here are a few of the funniest Google Easter eggs. Note: some of these require you run Chrome browser and some expire or only working during certain times of the year.
Search the word “anagram” and the suggestion shows “Did you mean: nag a ram”
Search the word “binary” and the number of results found will be listed in binary. Searching “hexadecimal” works too.
Search “conway’s game of life” and a game of life will start on the right side of the screen (complete with controls to manipulate the virus).
Search for “do a barrel roll” and the page will spin around.
Search for “askew” and the page will be askew.
Search “zerg rush” (reference to the zergling rush in Starcraft) and the page will be eaten by Google o’s.
Search for “recursion” and the “did you mean” will be “recursion”.
